Naturopathy
Diploma in Naturopathy and Yogic Science (DNYS)
The core principles of naturopathic medicine are a recognition of the healing power of nature; identifying and treating root causes (including mental, emotional and spiritual as well as physical); treating the whole person (including the spirit/soul and mind as well as the body); the responsibility of the patient; and a focus on prevention (including fostering healthy lifestyles, beliefs, and relationships).
Naturopathy or Nature Cure has another stream that started in India in the 1900s. It was popularized by Mahatma Gandhi (Indianetzone 2007). He adopted and popularized this system because it was cheap and adaptable to the Indian soil. It also traced its roots to references in the Vedas and other ancient texts (Indianetzone 2007).
The system grew in popularity towards the close of the 1900s, and today there are two streams of naturopaths in India. The first are graduates of All India Naturopathy Council and are awarded DNYS (Diploma in Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences) after three years of guided study and internship.
Yogic Science
Yoga science does not offer any new religion; it offers a methodology. Through Yoga science you can understand yourself better on all levels, including your physical well-being, your actions, thought process, emotions, and desires.
You will also understand how you are related to the world, and how to lead a successful life in the world. Yoga science creates a bridge between the internal and external conditions of life. Yoga is a way of improving yourself, a way of understanding your internal states. Whosoever you are, you have all the potentials within you.
Acupressure Therapy
Acupressure is nature’s health science built in our body. In acupressure therapy you have to apply pressure on certain points located on palms and soles. The pressure given on points stimulates all the organs of the body to prevent disease and to maintain good health.
This therapy also enables us to diagnose and cure the disease permanently. Acupressure is effective for the treatment of common ailments such as headaches, migraines, lower back pain, neck & shoulder tension, cramps, menstrual irregularities, insomnia, emotional stress, low energy and fatigue. It is used for physical , mental and emotional balance and relaxation.
The art and the science of acupressure are useful for fast and long lasting cures to various ailments. Even in the cases of chronic ailments acupressure has produced fast, effective stable and cost effective cures.
Reflexology
Reflexology focuses on reflex maps of points and areas of the body in the feet, hands, and ears using unique micro movement techniques, such as thumb or finger walking, with the goal of creating a response throughout the body. Reflexology is the application of appropriate pressure to specific points and areas on the feet, hands, or ears. Reflexologists believe that these reflex points correspond to different body organs and systems, and that pressing them has a beneficial effect on the person's health.
For example, reflexology holds that a specific spot in the arch of the foot corresponds to the bladder. When a reflexology practitioner uses thumbs or fingers to apply appropriate pressure to this area, it may affect bladder functioning.
How Does Reflexology Work?
• Reflexology works with the central nervous system.
• Reflexology reduces pain by reducing stress and improving mood.
• Reflexology keeps the body’s “vital energy” flowing.
Reiki
The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy."
Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.
An amazingly simple technique to learn, the ability to use Reiki is not taught in the usual sense, but is transferred to the student during a Reiki class. This ability is passed on during an "attunement" given by a Reiki master and allows the student to tap into an unlimited supply of "life force energy" to improve one's health and enhance the quality of life.
Pyramid & Crystal Therapy
"Pyramid Therapy" - According to the Egyptian masters, 'PYRAMID' is divided into two parts- 'PYRA' and 'MID', the former means 'Fire' and the latter means 'Center'. The Pyramid increases electromagnetic energy and bio-cosmic energy along with other forms of energies. Then, these energies and the individual's self-energy cause inter-related effect , which results into a feeling of consciousness in the individual. The Pyramid corners are the symbols of peacefulness, seriousness, wisdom and truth. The uses of Pyramid bring on happiness and prosperity.
"Crystal Therapy" - This course has been written to help you to develop your own healing potential based on a thorough understanding of the 'energies of crystals' with their physical and metaphysical properties. Students will also learn the application in terms of healing, and also the recognition of crystals and their uses.
